In this interview, I talk with Greg Bailey, founder & CEO of SharkPro Software, about how his company’s solution SharkPro Projects™ enables mid-sized companies to take the next step in Project and Portfolio Management maturity.
Greg describes how SharkPro Projects™, a pre-configured implementation of Microsoft Project Server and SharePoint 2010, can be up and running in hours as a hosted Software-as-a-service (SaaS) or installed in-house at the customer’s premises.
Greg Bailey has been helping companies automate their Project and Portfolio Management processes since 1984 as well as developing, managing, and leading international teams and partners. His career in project management has allowed him to work with industry leaders and visionaries and dramatically impact the bottom line. As Vice President of Application Lifecycle at Platinum technology he led a global team of 70 sales consultants to $130m in revenue until the acquisition by CA. Greg managed all direct sales and the global reseller channel as Vice President of eLabor’s Resource Planning Division until the Enterprise Project product was acquired by Microsoft. The market recognition, customer base, and software product offerings grew dramatically while Greg was Vice President of Sales at QPM.
